Ultrasonic and LiDAR Sensors for Obstacle Detection and Avoidance

Hi, what packages would be feasible for these sensors? I use RPLiDAR A1 and HC SR04 as sensors? Can I also have an outline in hard coding these? I wont be using ROS2 as an advice. I use an ESP32 as my MCU. Thank you.

hi, thanks for the reply, while im waiting for the sites to load, will they work in unison? Will it work even if ros/ros2 is not used?

The HC-SR04 can use non-blocking code. I do not know if RPLIDAR library is non-blocking
