Ultrasound Sensors to be used in the Medical ultrasonography

Hi ,

I have came to know about the ultrasound sensors that are being used and one example is :-

But I have a question do we have sensors that can support Medical Ultrasonography and ranges from 2MHz - 18MHz, any useful source will be helpful.

don't know but I like the question, think they will be expensive. What is the goal of your project?

The cheap simple ones i've seen are around 40 Khz

have a google on “PVDF” and manufacturer MSI.
they have a very good technical manual which describes the various applications of PVDF plastic piezo tabs.

They sure are cheap, but let me know
when you have a working analog front end for these in your frequency range…
