Hi! I got this microcontroller from a fancoil control panel, after a close look i found out that it has everything i need for my next project, but, according to microchip (Dynamic Product Page | Microchip Technology) it doesnt have a ide or any sort of file loader for me to make it work. I surely would be glad if anyone of you can hep me get out of this maze

It says the 16A us "not recommended for new designs - use the nearly identical 16B instead."
The 16A is still supported by AS7 and JTAG/SWD programming/debug access, as far as I know (AS7 let me start a project...)
Using a "found" microcontroller for a project seems to me like a very bad idea.
Thank you for the answer! Didn't saw that on the website but anyways i found a way to communicate with it, just need an Arduino uno for uploading the sketch to the jtag port, just like a locked 3d printer
