Unable to open Serial Plotter or Serial Monitor while sketch is uploaded

FIXED: I had board set at Arduino Mini and not Arduino Nano, which is what I'm using.
I apologize for the post. Is there a way to remove it?

Original issue:
Regardless of whether I have anything attached to my analog pins, when I run either the Serial Plotter or Serial Monitor while my sketch is uploaded, I get:
"
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 2 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 3 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 4 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 5 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 6 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 7 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 8 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 9 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
"

In addition, it seems like my baud rate is being overriden.
This is what I get when I upload but before I try to open Serial Monitor / Serial Plotter:
"

System wide configuration file is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\tools\avr/etc/avrdude.conf"

Using Port : COM3
Using Programmer : arduino
Overriding Baud Rate : 115200
"

Code:

void setup() {
  // put your setup code here, to run once:
 Serial.begin(9600); //9600 baud
}

void loop() {
  // put your main code here, to run repeatedly:
  Serial.print("test"); //check to see if anything prints if serial monitor opens
}

I have two phototransistors attached to my mini (I'm pretty sure it's not made by arduino) and I want to be able to get a readout from both of them while my code is uploaded.

Originally, I had IDE 1.8.9, and was told to download a driver that would work for my "CH340" chip and to revert to 1.6.13.
I've also restarted my computer, uninstalled Arduino completely, and tried using the reset button on the mini.

Nothing changed.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for taking the time to provide an update. I'm glad to see you found a solution. Enjoy!
