Unable to READ response from device

HI,

I have an arduino hooked up to a MAX13431E Half duplex chip to convert TLL to 485, so I can talk to a device. I enable transmitting by setting RE 1 and DE 1 then recieving would be RE 0 and DE 1. I can read an ecco back from the device, but I am unable to read the actual response from the device, shown in attachment.

Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong.

Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong.

The first thing you did wrong was to post a picture of some of your code. Code is TEXT! Post if PROPERLY.

Problem has been fixed. It was a timing issue and a also need to flush the buffer after the write and before the read. DE and RE are toggled like in the data sheet.
