Unable to upload any sketch only to esp32cam

I somehow messed up my Mac. I am now not able to upload either the sample webcamserver or blink sketch. The issue only affects this one kind of board, I have no problems with boards that use SI1202 chips, only CH340 chips are affected.

  1. I have a clone NANO with a CH340G and it uploads ok to both serial ports.
  2. I have an esp32cam with a CH340G and it will not upload even the blink
    sketch (LED_BUILTIN changed to pin 13 so it compiles) to either port. The G version has no BOOT button. Same result with 340C that does have a boot button.

I have a lot of these boards and I have used a few of them with no trouble. I can try on my WSin11 box if I seriously think it's a bad board.
I will try a few more samples of this ESP32CAM board while I wait to hear if anyone can shed some light or provide more troubleshooting tips.

I mean USB to Serial adapters.

If it sees them both, we can exclude driver problem.

I have a dozen of these boards. I have one working great, one with picture problems, one needs camera reinserted and one can't upload. I have to test 8 more.
It is NOT a driver or upload issue, these are cheap clone boards and by bad luck just happened to pick 4 bad boards in a row.
Problem closed.
