Unidentified component

Someone that knows I do microcontroller stuff gave me an arduino logo'd box that says "Electronic Components"

It's really cool but there is one component that I can not identify at all.

It has 4 pins in a square formation (meaning not in a row like you'd usually see for a breadboard component). It's a black rectangular box that is long and tiny and on the top of it it just says "up" with an arrow.

This component is kind of small. On a breadboard it would probably only plug in to 4 holes in a square formation and other than being tall and sounds like it has something inside of it that clicks I'm clueless.

Any ideas?

Could be a tilt sensor.
Leo..

Wawa commented while I was writing this, but since I already typed it:

It sounds like the tilt sensor from the Arduino Starter Kit:

The thing clicking around in there is a metal ball bearing. When the tilt sensor is upright at <~45 degrees the ball closes the circuit between the pins. When the angle exceeds ~45 degrees the ball rolls off the contacts and breaks the circuit.

Thank you both! It is a tilt sensor. Cool. Add that to my huge fishing tackle box of sensors.
