Hi, i bought a quadcopter a few years ago, but now its broken and i salvaged some parts from it, such as GPS and compass. GPS module worked like a charm, but i couldn't find anything about compass.
Help me please with finding at least datasheet for it, so i could work with it.
Now, information about it:
It's installed on small board, separated from flight controller. Besides capacitors and etc., it has two SMD components, and one of those is 9-pin chip, soldered by tiny tin balls under it. It's really tiny - about 2-3 mm. There's only two marks on it - one is "M6d", and other is tiny globe picture, which is i suppose stands for manufacturer. It works on i2c line, and has a 0x0C (#12) address while i was scanning it on Arduino UNO. I tried to feed to arduino all compass libraries that i could find, but it haven't worked - examples shown a static values about 16000-19000, and it had never changed, so it surely not HMC/QMC/MAG sensors.
Model of part is h501s-13, and i salvaged it from Hubsan H502S X4 Desire.
