I have an Arduino Uno project, using this Adafruit Logger Shield incl. an SD (SPI), and using several digital pins. The shield and the SD work fine. On A1 (analog) I have a moisture sensor. When I test the Uno and the sensor without the shield, the sensor reports this range 350-600 (OK). If I attach the shield to the Uno and plug in the sensor via the shield, I get strange, incorrect values from the sensor: 0-5. Is there some potential interference between A1 and the use of digital pins or the SPI? I'm not sure how to isolate the problem.
Sounds like a simple conflict but since I do not have the hardware you need to provide a schematic not a frizzy picture as you have it wired showing all connections including power, ground and power sources. Links to "Technical" information on each of the hardware items not so far posted will also help. There is more than one of the data shields so be sure you have posted the correct one with a schematic as well if possible.
