UNO-arduino2009 and  C++

Hello, i have developped an extension to arduino in C++ for my app: http://www.le-chat-noir-numerique.fr/

Helas, at the same time i was releasing my work for duemillanove, the UNO was arriving. I discovered on forums thats the UNO is no more FTDI, and this was quiet a surprise as i look first if there was no major change around, before coding.

My question: -is the UNO usable with my code using FTDI communication ? -do i need to rewrite completely my code for talking with an UNO, and if yes, is there any library around there or code sample ? -I presume that i need to buy a UNO to make all tests again ?

voilà ;-)

My question: -is the UNO usable with my code using FTDI communication ?

Are you using the FTDI API directly or are you communicating to the Arduino through the serial port?

hi. i m opening port directly in serial port. and comunicating in serial port.

The mechanism that the PC uses to talk to the Arduino has changed. The mechanism that you use to talk to the serial port that the Arduino is masquerading as has not.

No code changes are required on your part.

ok. thanks for your answer, i will buy an uno and see.
