my new uno I am unable to upload to with the error below
yet my mega 2560 no problems.
have tested uno on another laptop and it works fine
I am using xp pro
ide 22 clean install no extras
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51
On the Tools menu, did you select the Uno serial port (which is very likely not the same serial port assigned to the Mega)?

yes set as uno and correct com port set
works on another laptop same settings same xp pro
looking at the forum i am not the only one
and still not working tday tested again
Does it work if you manually reset the Arduino?
