UNO R3 with built-in WiFi Rev2 not showing WiFi SSID. Brand new. What should I do. Please help
what is "UNO R3 with built-in WiFi Rev2"
what WiFi library do you use?
what SSID should it show?
There is no such thing as "Uno R3 with built-in WiFi Rev. 2"
There is the Uno R3 - it is based on the ATmega328p, a classic AVR chip. It has no WiFi capability, though there are lots of ways to add an external WiFi adapter.
There is the Uno Wifi (not rev 2) - it is an Uno R3 with an on-board WiFi adapter. I think it is discontinued now.
There is the Uno WiFi Rev 2 - it is based on the ATmega4809, a megaAVR chip, with an on-board WiFi adapter. It not only uses a different chip, but also a different architecture (megaAVR has completely different peripherals, so libraries that directly use registers won't work on it, though the peripherals are much more powerful) - while the instruction set is the same (8-bit AVR), nothing else is. It's really an Uno in name and physical shape of the board only; it's unfortunate that they chose to name it so similarly to the Uno. But this seems to be par for the course for Arduino - they recently released three new "Arduino Nano" boards, each with a different architecture, which predictably causes great confusion among users.
