Hi, problem: windows7 doesnt reconize the uno clone ,i have downloaded drivers from the manufactur,and various sites and forum threadbon thr net but nothing works.No the chips isnt broken because the first time when i installed the drivers i could upload my sketch but after unplugging and replugging the uno windows7 listed it in the device manager as unknown usb device.
And trust me i deinstalled and installed ever possible version if the drivers from 2009-2015 ... severa timess...
So if somebody had some simmilar problems , please help me i am going :angry: about this,3 days and still no results...
And yes i got a link for some other driver , from the seller but the link is dead . so if somebody has driver will maybe solve my problem pls post them..

That's clones for you
Spend a bit more and get the "genuine article". Or buy a pukka Atmega chip with bootloder (Farnell) and swap it to see if that works.
How are you powering it? Sometimes using an external power supply together with the USB can cause "unrecognised device" - removing the external supply generally cures it.

This syndrome (works once, now serial adapter is unknown device) seems to a happen a lot on windows, and not just for ch340g's...

It happened to another guy on another forum with st's virtual com port drivers, and I've seen similar problems here a few times recently.
