Uno R4 WiFi can't communicate with IDE

My uno r4 can't communicate with arduino IDE. I've tried different cables and from different computers. I'll also add that it doesn't see the device in the windows device manager. I've also tried the method "Restore the USB connectivity firmware on UNO R4 WiFi with espflash" I get the return message espflash ::no_serial.

Does this mean that my uno r4 can't be repaired and is permanently damaged?

Has this always been the issue? How old is it?

I lost communication with my uno r4 wifi a week ago. I use it for my projects. But when not in use it works as a clock displaying RTC on the matrix display.

At the moment it works as a clock, but attempts to connect via USB are unsuccessful as if the data line was completely dead. I remember I tried several different USB cables.
And I tried different computers.

I have tried different ways to communicate with arduino but all failed. I am afraid that I will have to buy another arduino r4 board.

I ask again, how old is it? Maybe it's still under warranty?

I bought the board exactly on 16-01-2024.

The leaflet says something about a one-year warranty or 2 years in special cases depending on the country.

However, I cannot find any information on the arduino.cc website
about warranty, complaints

I found information about returns, you can return the product but only within 30 days of receipt, what's more it should be bought in an official store on the official website. My board is unfortunately not bought through the official website

@et1en . Sorry to hear about your UNO R4 misfortunes.

Mine is a lot newer then yours but older than 30 days and not from an official site, fortunately it still works. (Got it from RS - they seem to have a boatload full here). Could not find a single mention of warrantee on their site.

In the meantime. I am very interested in the way you displayed the time. Only messed with the LED matrix superficially. Do you mind sharing your technique for printing the rotated numbers? Would be appreciated. I kind of thought of the display as more of a gimmick but it does look useful when used like that.

This is not my project,

Here you have the whole finished clock project and the led matrix definitions.

What does Arduino support have to say?

I described my problem on https://www.arduino.cc/en/contact-us/
I'm waiting for an answer.

I also installed programs monitoring USB ports such as USB monitor pro and they don't see my Uno R4 board :frowning:

Thanks.
