I powered up the new Uno over the weekend and got a small surprise. The default power up application is, as always a flashing LED. Only this time it gives one short flash followed by four long flashes. This is the number one in Mores Code so the Uno is introducing itself.

I wondered why it was blinking in that particular pattern. I didn't recognize it as Morse Code, but the pattern did catch my attention. I knew it wasn't just the usual "Blink" sketch.
