UNO Vs. MEGA 2560

Hey, I'm fairly new to all this. I'm looking to control a pan-tilt servo (among various other servos) Mini Pan-Tilt Kit - Assembled with Micro Servos : ID 1967 : $18.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits and The adafruit dotstar led strip Adafruit DotStar LED Strip - Warm White - 144 LED/m [~3000K - One Meter] : ID 2437 : $74.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits. Which Arduino should I use for each? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is not a lot to choose between them. With a Mega it has more memory so you can control longer LED strips. You also have more servos with a mega, but with Uno you can use 12 anyway and you only need two.

+1 for the mega. Minimal price difference for a lot more space. I use my megas about 2x more often than I use my unos.
