I cant get started with my Nano 328mega v3.0.
Green light comes when plugged into USB port.
Nano USB connection shows up on my PC (Win7) when I run the IDE.
Nano board selected in IDE.
I try to upload simple 'Blink' programme..says 'uploading done', but error message below says 'avrdude_stk500_getsync() : not in sync resp =0x00'.
Blink programme does not run on Nano.
Pressing 'reset' button does nothing.
You might have an old program in the Nano flooding the USB buffers. Try this:
Hold down the Reset button on the Nano.
Unplug the USB cable and plug it back in.
Click on the Upload button.
When you see the message "Binary sketch size:" release the Reset button
Thanks for the tip but it did not work, I tried it a couple of times but get the same error message. I think I may have bricked it now as the processor is getting hot and the 5V rail measures 4.55v.
