I have published a public project but later found a bug in the software, I tried to edit the project by deleting the old sketch and loading the new but have ended up with mutiple copies of the sketch and I cant see how to remove the unwanted ones.
Where did you publish the project ?
I went through the New Project tab and filled in all the questions asked. And at the end ticked Public. It appears in my Dashboard as a Public Project.
Is this when using the Arduino Web Editor ?
Not sure what that is, if you mean cloud, no I used the IDE 1.8.18 editor on my laptop.
Where are you publishing the project ?
Is it Hackster ?
Very new to this. I just followed the tabs New Project from the Project Hub.
Pushed upstairs for you.
Hi any progress on this ?
Hello @aerobat. Please try this:
- Open your project on the Arduino Project Hub.
- Click the EDIT button.
Example:
- The project editing page will now open. Click the "SOFTWARE" tab.
Example:
- The software page will now open. You will see the code files you have uploaded under the "Code" section of the page.
Example:
- Hover your mouse pointer over one of the unwanted sketch files.
Example:
- You will now see an "Edit" and a "Delete" link appear to the right of the file. Click the "Delete" link.
The file should now disappear from the list. - Repeat the deletion process until all the unwanted files are deleted.
- Click the SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom of the page.
Example:
After doing that, the unwanted files should be removed from the published project. If you have any questions or the files are not removed after you follow those instructions, please let me know.
