My device seems to have the correct driver installed - however, I noticed in the images the BIGGEST difference is on the 3rd LAST image instead of XP saying "the software you are installing for this hardware: Arduino Uno", it says "the software you are installing for this hardware: Communications Port".
Is that OK?
IN the final picture it doesn't says "arduino uno (com x)" it says "communications port (com x)".
Device works with the loopback test, so right now I'm assuing the USB driver is OK. Any way to verify beyond this? Perhaps using the driver details such as device instance ID usb/vid_2341&PID_0001\74937.... etc
