Hey guys. Hope you all are doing fine. Can anyone help me out with this issue ?

avrdude: ser_send(): write error: sorry no info avail

I am Trying to upload the code on arduino but i am getting this error. My arduino worked fine on windows 8.1 but when i installed windows 7, it is giving me this error. COM port 5 and i have arduino UNO.

I also work with Windows 7 64bit, no problem. I ve an Mega 2560 (Com 5) and a Nano (Com 4) both are working.

  • check your comport settings in windows 7 (baudrate, stopbits,...)
  • are you admin ? try to diasble UAC (User Account Control)
  • Antivirus software maybe?
  • Try to change the comport
