Upload RFID code to AWS IoT (Thing Shadow)

Hi, I am a student and I have a question. I’ve downloaded https://github.com/loovee/aws_mbedtls_mqtt tutorial and edited aws_paho_shadow example to upload RFID tag to AWS IoT Thing Shadow. I have managed to upload the tutorial based on the touch sensor and LED Bar to AWS IoT successfully, but when I edited it to upload RFID data from RFID reader, it shows the

“An error occurred in the loop.”

It means NONE_ERROR != rc, can someone explain to me what does NONE_ERROR != rc mean?

Attached with this is my edited aws_paho_shadow for uploading RFID data to AWS Thing Shadow.

Can anyone help me with this code and explain to me what went wrong? Is the actuator and the callback needed to update shadow? Because no matter how many attempts I have tried, I did not manage to succeed in uploading the tag to AWS Iot. Please help.

RFID code to aws.doc (47.5 KB)

what is the exact error IDE is throwing?

Try to use code tag to put the code in the post, if the code is big, then upload the ino file itself. Please dont use Word doc, some people may not have word to open your document.

@sarouje

The error is "Error has occurred in the Loop" and did not manage to print (Serial1.available() > 0). Original RFID code is working but when I merged it together with aws_paho_shadow from http://labs.mediatek.com/site/global/developer_too...rted/aws/get-started/index.gsp, the RFID tag could not be uploaded to AWS IoT (Thing Shadow).

You are likely to get more help if you include you code between code tags </> rather than as an attachment.
