i'm just curious if there is any chance to upload a new sketch (and reset) arduino through the ethernet shield.
this will be great, expecialy for those project where you need an ethernet connection, and you are going to upload different sketchs due to different using.
let me know (i saw that someone do the same with xbee modules ... so why not with eth 
)

Not really. In order for this to work the bootloader on the Arduino would need to be re-written and replaced (and it might not fit). There was some discussion about doing such a thing with the never-released Arduino Ethernet board but nothing released AFAIK.
