Uploading file error

Hi,

I just got an arduino (i already worked with them but i wanted to buy one) but it crashes if i want to upload a file... Here's the error:

Looks like:

  • or you did not select the right COM port from Tools -> Port
  • or you did not select the right board from tools -> Board
  • or you did not install the driver for the Arduino. Goto device manager and look under Ports. No ! there?

If i go to the manager, i see COM2 as an communication port, so i think that the port isn´t the problem. I´ll check the other things.

I chose COM2 and selected the Arduino/Genuino Uno...

And is COM2 gone if you unplug the Uno?

Hello,

I'm bumping this problem up! Got the same message Error.

1 - I have selected the rigth board
2 - I have selected the rigth Serial / com
3 - I have re-install everything (Driver & IDE)
4 - Other board (YUN) was running perfectly last week on the same machine
5 - I can't reset the board (tried 2-5 sec hold and 32-37 sec hold)
6 - Interesting fact the LED 13 on the board is constantly on
