Uploading problem simple sketch

I tried with IDE 1.68 to upload a blink sketch to check the board (Arduino Uno R3) selected port , AVR ISP programmer selected
I get following text :
avrdude: no programmer has been specified on the command line or the config file
Specify a programmer using the -c option and try again

I had no problems with this board so far Did put some setting wrong? Which one?
What does this line mean?
Hope someone can help

Try using IDE 1.6.9 or 1.6.5r5 instead

I installed 1.6.9 and it works again, thanks.
Strange though that 1.6.8 worked before without problems
