Uploading Problem

When i am trying to upload any code (even an empty page) codes don't be uploaded.
Here is the error message:

Problem uploading to board.  See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.

What should i do?

You should start by reading THIS PAGE then adding a lot more information please.

I have found a similar issue on MAC OSX HIGH SIERRA.
I have been regularly programming a mega2560, NodeMCU, WeMOS, as well as UNOs.
When I installed 1.8.5 I started getting serial comms problems, on all devices.
The report from Arduino was that it could not program the device - serial timeout!

Here is how I fixed it for all devices -
Tools>Port>(click on the enumerated port - usually ticked)
This closes any associated Serial Monitor window.

Not sure if the next step is strictly needed:
Tools>Port>(click on the enumerated port - usually ticked)

Now you can upload, wait til finished.
Then -
Tools>Serial Monitor

Success.
