Urgent Help Needed (IC is heating up & Green and Orange lights are still/static)

Hi,

My Arduino Uno R3 stopped working i am unable to connect it with USB PORT when i am plugging it facing the following issues:

  1. Chip on arduino board starts heating up (Only Chip not full board)
  2. Orange and Green light becomes active (Orange light doesn't blink as it does on normal boot)
  3. Reset button is not working when i am pressing it nothing happend

I googled lot and found nothing i have one project to submit in my university and seems that gonna fail :o please help guys i am sure it is not something unusual one of you must have faced this issue is this CHIP issue or something goes wrong with board?

Did you ignore the advice about not driving a relay directly from an output pin?
