URGENT HELP

I'm having issues with my computer not recognizing my UNO board when I open the IDE.

When I plug the board in the light on the board blinks but there are no "Unknown Device" or "Ports" in my device manager. Also when I select "Serial Monitor" on the IDE, it has an error message at the bottom saying "Board at null is not available" and also under Tools in the IDE the "Port" option is not available. I've tried uninstalling the IDE but I think Windows has installed its own drivers for the board but I cannot locate it to update. Please Help! Thanks

Make sure the USB cable is completely plugged into both the Arduino board and the PC.

You may have a damaged/defective or charge-only USB cable. Try a different cable.

Either of the above can result in the power connections being made (and thus LED lights on the board), but no data connections (and thus no port for the board).

What brand of UNO do you have? Can you post a link to it please.
Also, could you post an image of your device manager. Hopefully we can get you up and running.

What's urgent about it? What makes this more urgent than problems of others?
2)
Please note that the use of text (in this case your title) in all capitals is considered shouting and is impolite and a number of people will happily ignore your post.
3)
Use the title for something useful that indicates the problem that you have.

What does it smell like?
