USB 2.0 Micro in Place of Power Jack

Hi all,

I want to Remove Power Jack on the Arduino and Add a Micro USB 2.0. How Can I Do it? Is there a Tutorial or Guidance Anywhere?

Actually, I am Making My Own Arduino at home so I want to add micro USB 2.0 Female jack to it. But I am Not sure How to Do it.

I am making this Arduino by reading instructions on "Instructables" Site.I searched for the making of Arduino with Micro USB 2.0 Female Jack But didn't get anywhere. So help me regarding it.

You can leave of the barrel and connect USB but not via the same path. That will need >7V. For ideas about USB power, have a look at the schematics for the Uno and Nano.

Might be useful for the forum to know which Arduino you are wanting to modify and which you are building.
