I have an UARTSBee http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/uartsbee-v31-p-688.html?cPath=104_109&zenid=be7b35194484b5e42fe50c6bb3801f46
and I want to use the 5 pins at the bottom instead of the USB connector.
This might sounds wierd but I need to put the UartsBee in a water tight box so the USB connector cannot be used. I have stripped an USB cable and have found the red, black, green and white wires.
Does anyone knows how to wire it up?
Four wires and five pins???
Right now I have connected the wires from my USB cable like this:
USB cable>UartsBee
Red > VCC
White >TX
Green >RX
Black >GND
The fifth pin on the UartsBee is called DTR, I am not sure if this one is needed?
I have also tried to swap the TX and RX with no luck.
2 pin are ground it normally the 2 on the bottom just pull up the data sheet for it.also make sure you are supplying the right voltage for it it it 3,5,9, im not very familer with that third party arduinio but im sure there is 2 ground pin for 2 dif. powers.
