Don’t feel bad—my computer doesn’t recognize your board either sometimes! Since there are multiple operating systems, I can’t accurately guess which one you’re using, so please let me know.
There are also several types of USB interfaces. Which one are you trying to work with?
Arduino comes in many varieties with different CPUs, and since I can’t see your setup, it would be helpful to know exactly which board you’re using to give you a better answer.
I’m also assuming you're using the Arduino IDE, but since there are several different development environments, I could be wrong. Let me know which one you're using.
