USB Device not recognized (Leonardo)

This board was working, but while uploading a program something went wrong. Windows no longer recognizes the board.
I get there error of USB device not recognized. I guess the bootloader is corrupt. Reset did no good. It also does not work on another computer. Is there anything I can do or is it hopeless?

I got it working again. I held down the reset button until it said "uploading". I released the reset button and it uploaded the program properly. It now recognizes the device.
