Hello maker,
I am currently trying to control a 3D printer via an Arduino Uno. It is important that everything works plug and play. That's why I'm trying to use a USB Host Shield. However, I have heard that this only works on 3D printing motherboards that use an FTDI chip, is this true? That's why I have looked into the ESP 32 S2 and am trying to create a connection between the two devices via USB-OTG. Does this work ? So is it possible to create a serial connection with it ?
Thanks in advance ![]()
