USB Host Shield "OSC did not start"

I have recently bought an Arduino Uno and a USB Host Shield 2.0. I have soldered the 3 necessary pins so that my mouse could receive power from the Arduino Uno Board. However, when I am compiling the USBHIDBootMouse sketch, the serial monitor mentioned "OSC did not start" instead of showing me the X,Y coordinate of the mouse.

The 5V and 3.3V pad soldering is not good. Redo the soldering. Look for a soldering tutorial.

Since the 5V appears to be working (the mouse LED is on), use a multimeter to verify 3.3V is working.
