USB Host Shield with FTDI CDC device

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a communication using a FTDI based USB adapter attached to a Arduino Uno equipped with a USB Host shield 2.0. When trying the USBFTDILoopback sample transmission (Ftdi.SndData) works fine!
But I cannot receive any data (always NAK)! And no error output. Configuration seems to be OK:

I checked the terminal program, cabling, using another FTDI adapter etc. to no avail. I'm puzzled, because no one else seem to have that problem.
Anyone with any idea what the matter could be? As I said, sending works - receiving not.

I’m stuck at the same point, it seems. Have you solved the problem?

From the USBFTDILoopback example I would have thought that NAK is the answer you want, isn’t it?

if (rcode && rcode != hrNAK)
ErrorMessage<uint8_t>(PSTR(“Ret”), rcode);

This code snippet from the loop() function suggest that there is an error only if the return is not equal to hrNAK. I’m also not getting the error message but the value of rcvd remains 0…
