USB port not recognized - Using Adafruit Feather M0 Adalogger

Hello!

I am using a windows computer and every time I try to upload my code I receive the windows error "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows did not recognized it". On Arduino I cannot find/connect to the correct port.

Here is what I have tried:

  1. Using another laptop (another Windows, same issues on both)
  2. Using the bootloader (this did briefly solve the issue, a new COM port appeared and then disappeared each time, I could not find this COM again afterwards)
  3. Updating and testing the driver (everything is updated, and windows says the right drivers are installed for the USB)

I am at a total loss here and am questioning if it is a hardware issue. The thing is, this was working just fine yesterday and nothing has changed. The USB cable is the same, the computer is the same.
