Hello everyone. I am having some trouble with my Arduino and my new computer (HP Omni-27) which has Windows 7 x64, integrated bluetooth and I am using arduino0023 and arduino1.0.1, trying to program an Arduino duemilanove. What happens is that when some kind of issue like disconnecting and reconnecting the boardo to my PC, or pressing the reset button or having some kind of problem while uploading a program to the board that crashes the USB comunication, de USB never recognize the board again. This is that even when reconnecting the board, closing and reopenning the IDE, etc. my COM port never update so i cant never get working the arduino just until y restart my pc. This restar, has also problems because my PC can´t finish some process due to the arduino failure so it gets stucked and never turns off until y keep pressed the on/off button. I have searched along the forum but haven´t found a response to this. Thanks on behalf for your precious help!
I want to say also that i have already read the gui for USB problems and i have already installed and reinstalled the arduino board drivers for ftdi and also disabled the bluetooth devices from computer management but my problem is still there. I just upload a program to the arduino, work around with it and if i disconnect the board from my PC, and reconnect it, the USB port never appears again. Please help! because everytime that this happens, may whole computer presents problems like geting slow and if I try to restart it or turn it off it stops and so I have to turn off my PC by keeping pressed the on/off button. This will kill my computer!
