USB to UART: proghram both 5 v. anf 3.3 v.?

I've been using Nanos for a while now, and I love 'em. But the Pro Mini is cheaper, since it lacks onboard USB conversion, so I want to buy a batch of those to play with. So I need to buy an external USB-to-UART adapter. The question is, do the adapters generally program both 3.3 v. and 5 v. Pro Minis, or does it take a separate adapter for each? I've looked at a lot of them on EBay, but nowhere do I find one with a jumper for voltage change.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Maybe if you look for FTDI bridge you'll find it.
I would trust better sparkfun quality, they got one FTDI breakout which can be changed from 5 to 3.3 V.

Jumper to select 5V or 3.3V IO to the uC.
This one has microUSB connector.
