USBtiny (AVR Pocket programmer) "Problem Uploading to board"

Greetings,

Apologies in advance if this is an FAQ (if so, where?)

I recently upgraded to Arduino 1.6.6 on a Win7 64bit PC. I’m unable to program the Blinky example sketch to an Arduino UNO R3 board using the AVR Pocket Programmer (from Sparkfun Electronics)

The drivers are the latest:
Driver provider libusb-win32
Driver Date: 1/15/2013
Driver Version: 1.2.6.0
Digital Signer: Adafruit Industries

I discovered that I can program the blinky hex file to the same UNO board using AVRDude from a CMD window.

Avrdude –c usbtiny –patmega328p –U flash:w:Blinky_01.ino.hex

I think the hardware is correct, should I expect to program this hardware directly from the Arduino IDE? ( Tools > Board = Arduino/Genuino UNO and Tools > Programmer = USBtinyISP Note: “Port” option is grayed out)

I get the following error message from the Arduino IDE

avrdude: Version 6.0.1, compiled on Apr 15 2015 at 19:59:58

System wide configuration file is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\tools\avr/etc/avrdude.conf”

Using Port : COM10
Using Programmer : arduino
Overriding Baud Rate : 115200
avrdude: ser_open(): can’t open device “\.\COM10”: The system cannot find the file specified.

avrdude done. Thank you.

I’m returning to this project after a long absence, what did I forget to do…?

Thanks In Advance!
