Hi i keep getting this error message

Error while burning bootloader.

While i try and burn the boot loader to my At mea 1208 Chip on a CTC Bizer 3-d board. help would be greatly appreciated!

That typically indicates a wiring problem

I have double and triple checked the wiring, I honestly have no clue about programming started to try and lear on my own to complete the project of getting this 3-d printer up and running. I have a photo of the board and programer attached. it seams everything i try just literally will not work this is the second programer i've tried would it work if i got an AVRISP mkii? dont want to spend $40 if wont work. Thanks for all the help i've tried googling all this stuff extensively and havent found anything to really work with. I am running on a MAC if that has anything to do with it.
