Use Arduino IDE for Piksi - The High-Accuracy GPS?

Hey guys!

Anyone of you who have used piksi in your projects and beeing able to use the Arduino IDE?

This is a qoute from a discussion on Piksi forum:
"We originally were going use an Arduino as the host in the Piksi Integration Tutorial, but decided not to because of a few issues - Arduino doesn't support doubles, it uses a C compiler for a different version of C (C89, I think) than libswiftnav, and some other things"

Does this means you cant use Arduiono IDE in you piksi project?

I've never heard of a piksi, and your "link" didn't work, so, I'd say probably not.

Hey Paul,

the discussion mentioned by Matthias can be found here:

I think the price ($495) of these Piksi's is very high. Too high to tinker with it. Don't forget you need 2 to be able to use the RTK abilities.

See http://store.swiftnav.com/s.nl/it.A/id.4734/.f for the price.

Regards,
Mario.
