USE GPS DATA ON A MAP

Good morning,
I need a help regarding the use of GPS data. I'm using an Arduino Uno R3 with a GPS Shield and EM406, on which I load a sketch that let have me a lot of data about my position and altitude.
Now, I would like draw on a map my moves.

How is the map connected to the Arduino? Are you using a series of servos to move an arm holding a pen?

The Arduino can send GPS data to the PC. How that data gets used depends on the application on the PC that is listening to the serial port.

So far, all we know is that there is, or is going to be, an application on a PC.
