Use of the select lines for MUX on Arduino Due

I just need to know what pins on the Arduino Due I should use as the select lines for my MUX. It only requires 2 select lines and its intention is to select which analog signal to pass as output. I'm not sure if it even matters which pin is used for select lines as long as its not in use?

Do you plan to use these pins to anything else when it not in use with MUX?

What MUX is it?
As the Due only outputs 3V3 signals, will this be enough to switch your MUX?

We have 8 ADC pins (A0-A7) and the two DAC pins (DAC0 and DAC1) with connections as well as power source and ground pins in use. The mux will be connected from DAC0 and DAC1. Just want to know what pins to use for the select lines on the MUX.

CD4051. We found this one best to use for our project.

Well sadly that is a very old part and a load of crap.
