Start with the bassics and read the Arduino Cookbook, skim it first then read the appropriate sections. Learning a CAD program will be a big help to all of us. KiCad is great and free. Many use the frizzy program and spend a lot of time getting there project questions answered. I for one do not normally answer frizzy questions. For a break go on the web and look at Arduino projects there are tens of thousands of them on line many with code. Once you get that far draw a schematic of your circuit and post here for help and validation. When you get past that you should order the parts.
From your post it appears you purchased some parts with no idea of what you have.
