Use Raspberry Pi and BEC into one Arduino

Hello all!

I have a Raspberry Pi that will send data to and from an Arduino using a serial connection. I will also have 4 ESC's with 5v BEC powering Arduino. I want to know if the Pi, and the ESC's with the BEC powering the Arduino will possibly overvolt and cause problems to the Arduino. Because the Arduino will be powered from Pi and the ESC's, I need to know if I could SAFELY use the USB from the Pi and BEC output from the ESC's at the same time into the Arduino.

I have little experience with all this stuff, so a simplified answer to my problem would be most helpful.

Thank you to all who have taken time to answer this question.

It would be best if you post a schematic, not a frizzy thing as all the power and grounds are critically important. show all power sources and include links to technical information on the hardware devices.

I'd avoid using BECs altogether - ESCs can and do fail (spectacularly in flames),
don't trust your control hardware to this! Just power the Arduino from Pi's USB?

Make sure the Pi is getting a solid 5.00 to 5.25V on its supply to help with USB cable
and connector losses.

Ok. Thank you for your response.
