I have no idea where to go. I have a bunch of used electronics that I'd like to give away so students, schools, hobbyists, or whatever can use the parts, gears, motors, etc. Where is the best place to donate this stuff?
Hi,
Look in your area for "MakerSpace" , "Tech Center", "Hamfest". Call your High-School or local university and ask to talk to the IT department. Ask them..
Also ask the science department. Also many schools no have some sort of robotics class or after school group. One of my nephew's sons is in 8th grade and has something to do with robotics.
I think most instructors would welcome more supplies that would enable students to stretch out and be challenged with extra credit projects.
Good for you helping others
A friend did an art degree, he saw some old circuit boards of mine and wanted them for his course. I have never really understood what the artistic merit of old circuit boards is, but apparently there is some. Maybe offer to an art college.

It''s the detail and the inherent precision. A good old (large) PCB - especially bare - makes a good wall hanging. You really should see by comparison what things they come up with on "Better Homes and Gardens" ! ![]()
I guess it's not there any more. :=(
It was pretty neat while it lasted!
I like that second one: fish and chips!
