Is there a minimum number of posts required before the User CP is available?

Its the User Control Panel, Mike. (where you change avatar and profile info)

I think the button for "User_CP" is missing form the array here, most forums its up with the Home | Help | Search |

But the only way iv found to access it is clicking on the message link at the very top of the page "you have 0 messages"

Then it will give you Arduino Forum ? User CP ? Inbox, so you just click on User CP. :wink:

or click on http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?action=mycenter if you are logged in.

Wow -- That's even cooler then putting someone on double secret probation and not even telling them.

Now that I can get to it -- How do I make changes?

Hey, if we could put all spammers on double-secret probation.. and it works, then by all means! :smiley:

But yeah, I believe it should be between the Members and Logout selection, there's an empty space.

But then again, how often do you really need to edit your information?:stuck_out_tongue:

So can we or can't we make changes to our user profile. I'm OK either way; I'd just like to know.

You can, although it is well hidden!

Find your way to the User CP page, with the link mentioned by one of the posters above. The panel on the left, labeled VIEW, has three tabs under it: Messages, Profile, and Posts. Graphically, it is very easy to miss this, since the design of the tabs does not call them out very well.

The tab defaults to the first, Messages, and you'll see your Inbox, etc. Click on the Profile tab and then the Edit My Profile option under that to change things. (You'll have to supply your password to authenticate yourself again.) There are other items for changing Options, Contact Info, etc. as well.

I don't know why the User CP is not an option on every forum page, where Home | Help | ... are. Seems it should be. Seems that it should also be in the list of popup items at the lower right of each page, as well.
