User Inputs and Storing values

Hi,

I have few relays controlling loads, now i my program, i want to inputs from users. For prototype i am using serial port to get the input...
i want to store the inputs by users, later on call those inputs.

e.g for X inputs 2,4,4...
for Y inputs 6, 8 12 e.t.c

Later when users Enters command X, 2,4,4 should be displayed on serial port....

Have you studied the communication examples that come with the Arduino IDE. One of them might give you a starting point.
