using apm 2.6 for other projects

hieee all... i'm new to this site... actually i want to use apm 2.6 for other project like controlling 4 servos with proportionate inputs from gyro/compass actually i have tried with ardunio board, but connecting all wires and integrating gyro/compass all these thing make quite difficult instead of that i thought of using Apm 2.6 which is already available with me so, i want to know how can i use apm 2.6 for these kind of applications
