using arduino as a keyboard input

I was looking to start a project using an arduino as a keyboard input and was wondering if this was possible using my arduino duemilanove and having it type a certain string of characters or use a keyboard shortcut such as control+shift+letter or just basic simulation of keyboard

im not really sure where to begin and i was wondering if there is any sample code for a basic hello world print

Search the learning area - put together a button read sketch and a simple serial print messsage.
