using arduino for atmega8535

I have already finished with the steps given in www.avr-developers.com but how am i supposed to program the sketch code in the arduino can some one give me an example.The reason im asking this is because all the arduino boards have specific pin mapping so how am i supposed to use arduino for atmega8535......like how to use the I/O pins of atmega 8535 ..... can some one please guide me or paste a simple code

What makes you think that you even can? There is a reason particular chips are used and supported. Off that path, you are pretty much on your own.

check this one out here he says he did it but just needed little help with a small example of the code.
P.S. i just need to use the arduino software for programming i have a universal burner.

HI Sandesh, why don't you ask some guys from the AVR-developers site i think they would have taken that up already and can help you with the code.
